Birthday By the Ocean!

My birthday was a couple weeks ago, but I wanted to put up some pictures of the fun time Thane and I had!

Because we don't have any friends or family close, Thane decided to make my birthaday special by planning a  camping trip by the ocean! We drove to Port Angeles, and set up our tent we got from our wedding at salt creek camp site.

Special thank you to my family for the tent! Its the perfect size for us! We love it!

We then headed to the ocean to check out the tide pools and wade in the freezing water. I was so excited because it has been over 8 years since I have been to the ocean!

Thane has a camera that can take pictures under water so we got some really cool tidepool pictures!

Thane was super excited that there was an old army bunker within walking distance... I just thought it was creepy!

About here it has occurred to me that I am a picture person, and I am probably putting up more pictures than necessary for a blog.... but oh well!..... 

"Thane, I am serious! Don't Jump!".... guess what he did. 

We got to watch the sun set over the ocean! Beautiful! 

While we were eating by the fire, a raccoon started climbing down a tree head first! Scared me to death!

It was a WONDERFUL little trip! The next day we went on a short hike before heading home. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we both had work the next day!
