K hit the 3 month mark last week! He now weighs 13.9 lbs, over doubling his birth weight. (I saw a newborn the other day and couldn't believe he had been smaller than her!) I've had to put away more and more of his small clothes... especially after he screamed at me when trying to fit him into a too small onesie - I guess I was in denial up until then haha).
This month:
He started hitting his toys hanging from his playmat - then within a week was grabbing them! Soon he was grabbing everything in sight - including mom's hair!
He loves eating his fingers, and mom's fingers - or pretty much anything he can get into his mouth -he has become a drool monster!
He loves his playmat, and scoots around on his back playing with his toys
Sometimes he even starts here:
And ends up here!
He has been more frustrated with it lately though, because sometimes he can't pull the toys down into his mouth and so he 'yells' at them. Hehe.
And once he gets frustrated, he would rather just sit on the couch and watch shows with mom and dad
He loves his puppy daisy- and has started to really notice her. Running his fingers along her and watching her. And she loves taking naps with him!
He also loves the stuffed puppy Grandma Stokell got him! And likes to try to eat him too!
His favorite times of the day are:
1. First thing in the morning - he is just all smiles
2.When we go to the park with daisy in the evenings - he smiles the whole time and babbles like crazy - he loves watching the trees!
3. Bath Time!
Thane and I have so much fun with him -he chatters to us, smiles, coos, giggles, and squaks
I love my chunky monkey baby boy!
